The airstrip supports a rural community of between 2000 – 5000 people. Built in the late 90s, it fell into closure in 2002 as it became part of the bush. The community, led by auxiliary policeman Jack Goi had done a lot of work.
To see existing rural airstrips restored and maintained to enable rural communities to have access to services.
