We Bring Joy to Rural Communities

The Junkaral Airstrip was recently restored by RAA and re-opened in February of 2017. The local community was exited as the MAF flight landed for the first time in over a decade. (See the video)

The airstrip supports a rural community of between 2000 – 5000 people. Built in the late 90s, it fell into closure in 2002 as it became part of the bush. The community, led by auxiliary policeman Jack Goi had done a lot of work.
